There is a reason Don is under-rated, he has yet to really prove himself at the iron distance. I think most would agree his "Ironman Record" in Brazil is not a reliable gauge of his full distance abilities; although he is a great athlete at all distances. I personally don't think long course records mean that much as both changes in conditions and even minor course changes can dramatically influence course times from race to race.
I digress though, My Top 3
1) Frodeno
2) Hoffman
3) Sanders
1) Ryf
2) Crowley
3) Charles
