I was going to hike to the top of the one place I took my pups the most and spread some or all of their ashes. Just can't bring myself to do it. They are in their respective little boxes in a cabinet with their collars and tags. Not sure I will ever do it.
Most crematorium give you the option of a scoop of ashes mixed or pay a little more for just your own. I also asked for the titanium knee bracket back when they cremated my oldest, in part to see that they fulfilled the contract and because it is now an expensive piece on a necklace. Also amusing I get lots of comments asking if it is a bike part. My girls were almost 15 and 16. I figure it will take a long time to really be okay they are gone.
