it is indeed a BBinfinite. I'm puzzled how it could end up like that. My first negative experience with the Ruster henhouse.


A guess would be that your bike and case took a solid hit, with the frame spanning something below it that allowed the crankset and BB assembly to move to the NDS. The BBInfinite is pressfit installation plus loctite retainer. I would guess the final fix will need more loctite.

It is fortunate that your frame wasn't smashed or cracked. I was assuming the crank would not turn because the DS was pushed up against frame, but if the bearings are damaged then swapping the BB will take a local shop and more logistics. Hope you get this sorted so you can race.
