I asked the same question in this forum last January 17th. Look up and see replies. Decided to buy the Scicon and have shipped my P4 7X....once by plane, 6X by FedX. Very sturdy and have had no problems......sturdy, excellent built-in padding, good handles, sturdy wheels, easy to pack/unpack. Note in replies from the January discussion that you can't use the BikeBox Alan protective pole with a disc wheel inside. I bought mine on sale from ProBikeKit for about the same price as the Bike Box Alan. Don't currently see the Scicon listed on their website but you might want to contact them.
ps...the newer model Scicons, like mine, now come with TSA key locks so they don't have to cut anything to open the case
