Re: Who was Ken Souza's straight laced nemisis in the 1980's? [Mike Plumb]
PS. I have a stack of results books from the Coors Light races if anyone ever wants a peak.

I don't know if I ever asked you, but I have been looking for duathlon results from I believe the national champs in Anaheim, from 89 I think it was. Pretty sure Matt Brick won it, Kenny was there, Parades, couple of Kiwis, and yours truly. I did it as a lark, but ended up feeling as good as I ever have in a race, Pr'd my 5k on the 1st run I think, and qualifyied for the US world team, I think 5th or 6th American. Think I was 9th overall, but for the life of me I cannot remember what my splits were.. I rememeber comparing them to the really fast guys, and the course looked legit, not short. It was a crit course, so I caught just about everyone except Matt on the bike, and I think I had a pretty good run for me on the 2nd 5k, but my brain has lost most of that race. I need some conformation to fill in the gaps, and let me know if I have been living a lie all these years.. Maybe you did the race??

Oh ya, it was a Scott Zagarino production as I remember too, and I think I asked him once, and he didnt have the results either..
