Course Info: This exciting course will travel through some of the most historic and picturesque sections of Philadelphia. The start/finish area and the transition area will be located just off of Martin Luther King Drive, near the base of Black Road – it is a beautiful part of Fairmount Park, complete with statues, trees and grassy fields.

The 2008 Philadephia Insurance Triathlon in Fairmount Park will provide a $13,500 prize purse for the Olympic Distance Race on Sunday, June 22, 2008. Breakdown is as follows:

Athletes must present a USAT Elite membership card or a professional membership card from their national triathlon federation at the mandatory Elite Athlete meeting to compete in the Elite Division.
Directions: Race Site
Parking for the race will be on Landsdowne Avenue and North Concourse Drive, the roads in front of Memorial Hall. The address for Memorial Hall is 43 North Concourse Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19102. PLEASE ANGLE PARK. Also note that on Sunday morning, you will only be able to access the parking area from two intersections: 1) Memorial Drive on Parkside and 2) North Concourse off of Belmont. From parking, it is a 5-10 minute walk down Black Road to the event and transition area.
