Course Info: Swim: The swim course is in the St. Lawrence River. The Sprint course covers 1 750m Loop. Exit from the swim course is onto a carpeted shore line then a short incline to the run into transition.
Bike: The bike course is held on closed roads along the river in Cornwall. The course is slightly rolling but technical. The bike course is 10km in length. The course heads east out of transition to a turn around near Boundary Road. Heading west the course enters into the Nav Canada Training Institute for a circular loop of the building. Once back on Montreal Road, continue to head west to a left turn on Marlborough St. This slight downhill is the fastest part of the course and winds through Cornwall's Cotton Mill district returning to Montreal Road for the eastward ride back to the transition area. The Sprint race is two loops of the bike course
Run: The run is held on the bike path along the St. Lawrence River. The run course is slightly rolling and 5km in length.
More: The race also features the olympic distance (1500m, 40km, 10km) and Try-a-tri (200m, 10km, 2.5km) distances as well as a Sprint Relay.
On Saturday the 24th, the Cornwall Triathlon features a youth race day on closed roads in the heart of Cornwall.
Directions: Cornwall is located in Eastern Ontario close to the Quebec border and only 1 hour from Montreal and Ottawa. Cornwall is situated on HWY 401 and the race site is easily found via the Boundary exit, south to Montreal Road and then west to the race site.
