Course Info: 24th annual AA, Elite Endeavors season opener for tri and DUATHLON. Half Moon Lake warms you up, then uphill to transition to bike the rolling hills around the lake, only to transition to the run on the INFAMOUS POTAWATOMI TRAIL....a 5 mile TRUE TRAIL run, that the athletes "love to hate"!
DUATHLON ALSO: FIRST RUN 2 MILES! then the bike and 2nd run equal the Tri.
More: USAT sanctioned, age groups: 15-85, no drafting.
Awards 5 deep in age groups, door prizes, bike tech support by Bikesport of Michigan: Tom Demerly and crew. Immediate post race fare, and Lunch served during awards.
Directions: Half Moon Lake is located just north west of Ann Arbor MI in the Pinckney Recreation area.
Off US 23, take Territorial Rd 12 miles west, to Hankerd, turn right and the park is on the left side of Hankerd Rd, about 2 miles.
Off I 94, one can take the Baker Rd exit, go through Dexter MI, to Territorial RD, turning left (west) to Hankerd RD.
