Course Info: The Pumpkinman Triathlon will take place at Spring Hill, a beautiful and scenic location illustrating the best of what the Seacoast has to offer. The Lodge at Spring Hill is located at 117 Pond Road, South Berwick, ME.
The race will host 450 multi-sport athletes from all over Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and beyond and will cater to both new and veteran athletes. The Half Iron event includes:
1.2 mile swim in Knights Pond
56 mile beautiful rolling bike course along the well maintained Eastern Trail (paved surface)
13.1 mile scenic two loop run that starts out with a welcomed downhill start, long flat section along the Eastern Trail with a finish to remember!


This destination race showcases both the beauty of the venue as well as the South Berwick portion of the Eastern Trail.

More: Each year the Pumpkinman Triathlon will award our top 5 competitors in the Long Course/Half Iron Race, and the top 3 teams in the Long Course/Half Iron Relay Race with a custom granite trophy etched by Etchex with the Pumpkinman logo. In addition, the top 3 male and female age group winners will be awarded a custom trophy. ELITE PRIZE PURSE for both male and female: $850-$650-$500-$300-$199.

Directions: Spring Hill is located at 117 Pond Road in South Berwick, Maine, just an hour north of Boston, and minutes away from Portsmouth, NH and the Seacoast.

Great race. lots of volunteers. great food. no worries about drafting, not your typical 70.3 at all!

This is a gem of a location with top notch organization and volunteers. Rated by a local expert as the top new triathlon in New England. We felt as if we were family by the time the weekend was over.
