Course Info: Fed by over 200 springs, Lake Quassapaug will be a treat to your senses. This semi private lake boasts little boat traffic of any kind. The well staffed swim will be a triangle in shape, (layout is available on the site.) Quassy beach welcomes you home and sends you on a fun transition run through the Amusement Park.
Join us on a journey through the breathtaking Connecticut countryside. Our bike ride begins by venturing out onto the scenic rolling hills of historic Middlebury. You will be faced with challenging climbs culminating in gorgeous hilltop views. Long winding descents will take you through pastoral vineyards and over Thomaston dam. This engaging bike ride will take you past Black Rock State Reservoir – a well known nesting site for Bald Eagles. You will be welcomed into some of Connecticut’s richest farmlands, past historic Bethleham Fairgrounds. Follow the signs and the cheering voices as you pass through Litchfield Town Center on your way back to transition and the amazing Quassy Amusement Park.
Exit Quassy Amusement Park onto a very scenic run course. Shortly into the run athletes will enjoy a two mile dirt packed stretch of road. The course itself is challenging in spots but offers ample flat sections for proper recovery. Whether you are enjoying the scenic view of Lake Quassapaug or the rural beauty of Middlebury’s Historic District this run has something for everyone. The figure eight course layout sends athletes back past Quassy for a shout out from loved ones before a trip by Timex Headquarters (check your splits) then hydrate well, find your groove and finish in style as the folks at Quassy welcome you home.

Revolution3 takes place in Middlebury, Connecticut at Quassy Amusement Park. On race day, Quassy opens exclusively to athletes, their family members and friends, as well as race volunteers and their families. Spectators enjoy front row action via stage screens set up in the transition area. Six cameras strategically placed throughout the course will broadcast live directly to you. Combine this with real-time GPS athlete tracking and you, too, will see the revolution unfold!
Directions: From I-84 heading West:
(From Hartford, Bristol, Cheshire, Waterbury) I-84 West to exit 17. Go straight off the exit onto Rt. 64. Continue on Rt. 64 for approximately four miles and the park will be on the right.
From I-84 heading East:
(From Westchester, Danbury, Newtown) I-84 East to exit 16 take a right off the exit and follow Rt. 188 to the Rt. 188 / Rt. 64 intersection (approximately two miles). Take a Left turn onto Rt. 64 and continue for approximately one mile and the park will be on the right.
From New York City:
Hutchinson River Parkway North to I-684 North. Pick up I-84 East toward Danbury. Once on I-84 follow the directions from I-84 East.
