Man... these things are crazy wide.

I just put a pair with 25mm GP4000S II on my road bike. Took some serious adjustment to get the brakes wide enough.

I have DA 9000 brakes.

My issue is this... they are so wide apart due to the rim width that the back of the brake shoe holder is nearly hitting the fork.

Is there any issue with taking out the washer so the shoe sits closer to the wheel? What other options are there??
