you should just keep your trainer and get a used powertap wheel instead

Any issues with import duties or customs holds on the shipping?
Of the various levels of the Tacx Smart trainers, the Vortex has the lowest brake/resistance rating. Have you had problems out-doing the motor on the trainer?

i just got it for $285
i had a fluid 2 and it worked well.
having a smart trainer and trainer road is just amazing. you doing have to chase the power - trainer road adjusts the tension to the roller so you have to hit the power #s as you pedal.
very very cool.
also im playing around with some videos that simulate courses and it's very cool how it works. if it's in your budget go get a smart trainer.
