SRAM Shifters
Having difficulties with SRAM bar end shifters on a tri bike. We've had springs break on the rear derailuer shifter and had the springs replaced. Front end shifter I've now gone through two shifters because they've failed and stopped shifting completely. Thinking of going a different direction since I've had such a terrible experience with SRAM, and am considering Dura Ace shifters. Will Dura Ace Shifters still work with SRAM components?

Have others had such terrible experiences with SRAM shifters?

No issue with my SRAM R2C shifters (10sp) or front/back derailuers.

sram and shimano use different cable pull ratios, so the DA shifters won't really work, at least for indexed shifting. you could use a friction shifter for the front, though.

are you talking about the R2C shifters? if so, yeah...i've had two replaced (one front, one rear). they're nice when they work, but too finicky/fragile.

Ditto that... no problems with my 2012 SRAM R2C shifters. Sorry to hear you're having issues.
