No, as long as you have Ant+ scanning in the PC8 it will pick it up when you go to the pairing menu.

Can you explain the Bluetooth actual capabilities in the new 3.2.4 update

Ie: can it operate alongside shimano DA and Ultegra top hood button for changing pages etc

I have only used the Bluetooth to sync with the SRM Mobile App. I'm pretty sure its not able to BT sync with training devices ie, Power Meter, Sensors, Smart trainer etc.
No to your question as to being able to control the Power Control with the top buttons on the Di2 hoods.

Mine pairs with no issues, I really don’t use the app, when done with a ride I use the WiFi to upload.
I did have trouble with the code at first when pairing, but all in all no complaints with the PC8. I think it’s easier than a Garmin once you get the hang of it and once you customize your screens.

Do you know what type of plastic the outer screen is

Try unpairing, then re-pairing in Bluetooth on the phone

Contact SRM via phone and talk to them, don’t email them. I had a PC7 refurbished years ago with a new screen cover, think it cost around $65. Since I got me PC8 I put it in a ziplock when training indoors, and use some clear tape over the screen when riding outdoors. Sweat seems to eat away at them.

How fo I setup left right pedalling balance?

Did they ever implement the Workout feature? And if so is there a tutorial? I love the PC8 but at this point I need a computer with the ability to load workouts from Training Peaks.

solved it. Did a H10 software up date and turned on the Ant+ function , also can do my H10 off two devices now. But that is another thread...

Digging this thread up as I need some information on the PC8 charge cable pinout. Unfortunately, my charge cable didn't make it home after vacation and I would appreciate it if someone could use a multimeter to provide me the mapping between USB Pins #1-4 and the Pogo contacts A-D.

Since this thread has been resurrected, I notice they are giving you a PC8 when you buy a new PM. (Or even one of the old PMs.) Is this a sign of the PC9, or just a way to make their product slightly more competitive price-wise?

Hello there!

Is it possible to have different display configurations on the different bike profiles on the PC8? I know that you can have 4 different profiles, but when I change the display data on each of the screens, they change for all the profiles.

I want to look at different data on my screen when riding my mountainbike, than the info I see on the road.
