Does anyone know if bowties for Speedplay Zero pedals are the same as bowties for X-Series pedals?

They definitely look the same but it seems like there might be some small differences. From http://www.torontocycles.com for their aftermarket bowties:
"Aftermarket Replacement Titanium spindle set for
SpeedPlay Zero. X series might take some adjusting to
cleat in as a bit thicker."
Seems like the shape is the same, but the thickness may be the difference. I don't have any real world experience unfortunately.
