I put them in a metal Excel mints container, taped to my aerobar extensions under the arm-rests. It has a hinged lid (instead of a removable lid) which is nice to not fumble with, and is wide enough for me to fish my finger into to hook the last pills out of it. Works great.
I like to keep my sodium separate from my drink so that I can monitor and adjust depending on temperature on race day. Unless you race frequently enough its hard to get the concentrations right for your needs. Being under-sodium'd is no good, but being over-sodium'd feels horrible too while running.
