Helping friend shop for wheel set - $600
I have a friend that has been racing for a couple years and would like to upgrade his stock wheels. Here is what he is looking for:

Clincher
700c
Shimano/SRAM 10 speed

Looking for setup similar to s60/s80 or Flo 60/90 or equivalent
Would also be open to 60/60 or equivalent

He has a $600 budget. I know this may be a long-shot, but I told him I would see what's out there.

Thanks for helping out.

if he wants chinese carbon, he can get it done for well under $600. There are mixed reviews out there, but I've seen as many happy folks who swear by them.

I have a sram 60/80 set. The front 60 was warrantied and never used because they failed to send the axle cap. Your friend would have to find an axel cap if he was interested. Let me know.

Sorry for the second reply. I do appreciate the help. He has no clue about tubular, so will want to avoid that indoctrination before race season. Needs to stay with 60mm front. He lives in upper midwest where crosswinds are brutal and he is not a strong enough rider to handle anything deeper.

Perhaps not as deep as you'd like but my friend is selling 2007 Zipp 404s. He was looking for $650 but may be able to work out a deal.
