Cycling legs and thigh chafing running
I spend a ton of time on the bike this winter and my quads/thighs are a lot bigger. But now when I run on the treadmill I'm getting chafing. Anyone else have this problem? Do I use body glide or just longer under shorts? What works best?

I run in Nike shorts with the longer (compression short type) liners. Or Nike Pro Combat - compression shorts under standard style run shorts.

No inner thigh chafing.

Body glide is too expensive if you run every day, just get a huge tub of Vaseline, half as much and will likely last the entire season.

Ditto on the Vaseline but be careful what shorts you're wearing. I've had the petroleum break down some red dye and color some other stuff in the wash.

Definitely go with the Vaseline. It's never failed me

I'm a big fan of the Brooks Infiniti II Notch Shorts. I've also got big thighs, and these work great for everything up to and including marathons. I've got a drawer full of 'em now.

They actually run somewhat on the larger side, somewhat typical for American clothing. My waist is probably 33-34, but I go with the medium on these.

Common problem in trail and ultra marathon distance, even without massive cyclist thighs. Tight shorts are the easiest solution. If you feel uncomfortable wearing them, put your normal shorts over it. Salomon even makes a 'S-Lab exo twinskin ' with compression tights and an outer shell to keep the classic look.
