Has Anyone Used cycling.tv?
After a fail this weekend trying to watch the Belgian races, which are difficult to spell, on free websites I was considering subscribing to http://cycling.tv/

Has anyone used this and if so, would they recommend it? How is the commentary, quality of feed and highlights?

At this stage it is cycling.tv vs sportsnet

I could do with getting it sorted before Strade Bianchi so if anyone has any insights I'd be grateful.

Flip, I miss eurosport

I pay for it because the feed is reliable, there are no commercials, it's good quality, I can connect my laptop to my TC and watch it while riding on the trainer. No drops in the feed, no popups - it's very reliable.

They have some races on there which aren't linked on steephill etc otherwise, but then again they don't have Flanders, Paris - Roubaix or the Tour de France. So it's not a one stop shop. But I find it worth it because having a reliable feed for the classics they do show (E3) has justified the cost for me.

I subscribed last year and it was not bad, but I found the commentary kind of boring. I enjoy the Eurosport broadcasts WAY more. I just love when Carlton Kirby gets all worked up, and Sean Kelly has decent anecdotes and interesting analysis. I decided not to renew cycling.tv this year.

I'd go for it. I haven't been a subscriber as of late but I have in the past and liked the selection of races and the quality of the feed.

Cheers for the info guys. I'd mainly use it for entertainment whilst on the turbo. Kind of annoying that they don't have all of the races though

Here is their calendar, it's quite the list:

Strade Bianchi is NOT live unfortunately.

Commentary is very boring by the way, and they're not very good at recognizing riders quickly. But it's good enough for me.

I subscribed last year and again this year. I thought it was / is worth the price.

for those who have subscribed, does it have an "on demand" feature to replay the events?

Yes it does. You can watch highlights or replay the whole event.
