IM Wisconsin......how long registration open
Quote | Reply
? to all,

The race last year.......how long before it SOLD OUT. I have raced it 2X and had to volunteer it
both times to get that spot.

Last year, did it stay open OR sell out in one day like usual.

Thanks

It was open for a few days online, almost a week I think.

I wouldn't necessarily base your entrance on what happened previous years. It can always change from year to year. It may have taken a week last year but it could take hours or days this year.

If you want in and don't want to worry about it, get in when it opens.

We should start a buy in for each IM race for when it sells out. $10 gets you in. Whoever picks the closest yo the day of selling out wins.

OK Thanks for the input.

I figure it will be a crap shoot whether I go up to volunteer OR hit the enter button from work to register.
So It is either IM Boulder or IM Wisconsin with IM Florida as well. That will be two for 2016.

Debating whether to go 3 IM. I have until May to decide.

Inching closer to the Legacy spot, but that is still a few years away.

I think with IM Louisville being pushed back, a lot of folks will start considering that one over Wisco. Easier bike, current swim WITH a wetsuit now, and logistically it seems a bit easier with Louisville having more hotels. So I would bet that it shouldn't be a mandatory IM Volunteer like AZ is... But I've been wrong once before, only once though.

Yeah, it was open for quite a while. Maybe even a few weeks.
