This is a theoretical question. There are a number of threads ongoing at the moment that are discussing the merits of lactate testing, hopefully I can be forgiven when I say that a lot of what is being said is well over my head.
So, given a suitable lactate testing protocol, what would be the key variables that I would measure and what would I then do with them to me be a better triathlete.
I am considering getting one done professionally and getting the associated information given to me. However, things change and if I can do this myself, or with a little help, then I would prefer to do it that way. There are also new devices that may be able to help, such as bsxinsight.
Any information that it suitably dumbed down would be appreciated. I have had a good season, but want to have a great season next year and have 8 months of training that I can really make things happen.
Thanks
On the internet, you can be anything you want. It is a pity so many people choose to be stupid.
