Speed Concept 9.0 2011 fork removal. I've removed all the bolts but the steering rod will not slide all the way out. The fork is getting caught on the lip of the frame preventing the rod from sliding all the way out. Any tips, at this point would be more than appreciated.

I had the same problem. My solution was taking the lower bearings out as the fork comes off. Gives a little additional clearance.
You have to pull the bearing as Chris describes. The fork can't be removed or installed with the bearing seated in the frame.
When you re-install the fork, put the lower bearing in place on the fork first.
