Elsa RS only comes in GPX and BB30. Either way you will have to change BB. Most straightforward, is to go to a GPX BB. What bike do you have? In other words, does the bike have an adapter BB to take the Dura ace crankset, or is it a straight threaded English BB?

You can't do a direct swap with any quarq. Quarq come in bb30 or gxp. Neither is directly compatible with shimano bb.

You will be able to get one of those to work with a new bb though. Likely a gxp. Wouldn't know specific type without frame model though

Bike is a giant Trinity advanced. Would of thought it would be a straight swap as I would assume most people buying the Elsa rs would be coming from a dura ace crank and using its Chain rings

Ok, then. That's a BB86. You will need to remove the BB and replace with a BB86 GPX. Cheap and simple. I think the SRAM versions are 50$ or less.

but quarq is owned by sram. Sram would be dumb to support a standard championed by their competitor. And if you are looking at buying a 1600 dollar crank with no chainrings, a 40 dollar bb is just the price of doing business.

Also, if you need 53/39 rings for your new pm, I have some available. 300 miles, 100 shipped

"+-1000" means any number between +1000 and - 1000 is ok........so you're right in the middle........so you're ok.

One thing I have been wondering is whether Sram/Shimano still view each other as competitors at least in the road segment.

The wireless Sram group is making it a bit more interesting but AG2R alone hardly seems threatening enough in the peleton.

Is Sram throwing in the towel?

They still have super solid ground in mountain, wheels, and a few other things. Is it worth the final resistance? Sram is light and but weightweenism is being replaced by aeroism.

Where is the new min weight rule from UCI as promised?
