New 2014 Speed Concept is light!!!

So, after we built up my new Speed Concept at work, we decided to weigh him.

18.15 pounds

Size - Small
Garmin Edge 200 Computer
RXL Race light bottle cages x2 w/water bottles (empty)
Look Keo Blade Aero Carbin TI pedals
Bontrager Bento Box on top tube
Gorilla rear Cage single mount
Bontrager RL wheels with Conti GP 4000S II tires

sadly, the needle flys past 200 when i sit on the bike ......

That's pretty awesome! It's a real testament to Carl and his team at Trek.

Is this the 9-series or 7-series? It looks like you have a tall/far stem (although it's kind of hard to tell), do you know what the weight difference is between the different stem options. It's aluminum, so I can't imagine that it's a huge difference.

So far, after about 9 months with the 2014 7.5, I've been really happy with mine.

Carl and his team did an amazing job.

This is a 9 series Ultegra build. I have ordered a set of Dura Ace 9000 cranks to put on it.

The stem is a tall/near, but it's the wrong stem. The new mid/near should be here tomorrow along with my Aeolus 9 D3's.
