Is there something special you need to do for Garmin activities to show up in MFP? Mine is working from MFP to GC but no activities from GC show up in MFP. I have to manually add my activity calories in MFP.

I have had this working so briefly, I don't know what I did or didn't do to make it work or stop working. Can you post a step by step guide to getting nutrition from MFP into TP? I had GC-TP - MFP working and I was getting a duplicate of my exercise/workouts logged in TP. So I deleted all the permissions and re-created them. The duplicate workouts stopped but so did my nutrition.

I've posted on the forums but no ones replied

https://home.trainingpeaks.com/myfitnesspal

You can re-enable it there and select what you want to sync.

I had those duplicate workouts happening as well. It took me a lot of fighting to get it to stop, drove me nuts! I ended up breaking all the links as well because it was so frustrating.

I've had MFP / TP sync drop about 3 weeks ago. I tried re-enabling it a few times, either way, it just doesn't work. That does fit in the "broken-is-the-new" mentality at TP since they ditched the old site.

Hey Rodney - any chance that weight entered in to MFP will ever sync to TrainingPeaks?

I was wondering about this the other day myself. Garmin/MFP sync grabs to so seems to be data that would be out there.

Not in the immediate future, there are a number of options being considered. Also general sync issues are a work in progress between the various vendors.

Ah, rats. Seems like such an obvious and useful integration. Thanks for checking Rodney.

It's odd that this data wouldn't be grabbed like the nutritional data. Training Peaks sure does things in odd ways.

Rodney would know better, but my guess is that it might be more complicated to implement as Weight is a "Metric" in TrainingPeaks lingo, and as such it is hooked in to some of its other reporting. Which of course is why it would be great if it were integrated with MFP - heh.

Part of the issue is simply the vast number of sources for health information (MFP, HealthKit, Apple Health. Determining what to sync from where and then not overwrite what another service has synced is a little more complex than it seems.
