Is there something inferior about the "unofficial" model?

Just for reference, in regards to your comment in the other T1 thread about why would someone want one, I already have an Octane suit and have worn it in races up to 70.3 (including in a pool swim and in open water with and without a wetsuit and it's great) but I have doubts about the pad being enough for a full IM. So I was thinking of getting a pair of shorts I know could go the distance and then wearing a long sleeve top that is as tight and aero as the Octane. I will say I'm not real excited about your sunburn comment though. I've gotten zero sun while wearing the Octane.
