Shoe store Boston
I'm relatively new to the area and am looking for a running store with experienced shoe experts. I've been wearing the same shoe for 4 years so for that time all I ever did was walk into a store and tell them the shoe/size and purchase. I'm looking for a place that will do true gait analysis and make recommendations (not looking for a guy to watch me walk on a treadmill and say "you pronate.")

I've only had some experience with Marathon Sports on Boylston but it's always crowded since it's kind of a tourist destination for runners (especially around this time of year.)

Any good experiences in the greater boston area?

Marathon also has a few stores in the burbs (Cambridge, Wellesley, Melrose to name a few) depending on where you are, not as crowded as the Boylston St store.

I haven't dealt with Fast Splits but I believe they do gait analysis.

I've never been, but I've seen the new True Runner in Chestnut Hill advertise gait analysis.

You could try the marathon sports on Mass Ave in Cambridge, just outside of Hvd Sq towards Porter. It's never been super crowded when I've been there.
