Hi everyone,

During the past few years I have been working with the University of Washington and Len Brownlie (of Aerosports Research) to setup two wind tunnel sessions a year in an effort to provide folks from the Pacific Northwest with a local option at nearly half the cost of sessions at other low-speed wind tunnels. A group of five riders took part in our first session in March 2011 and we averaged more than 2 minutes of savings per/hour of riding.

Here are the details:
- Session Cost: $625 per/rider (with a max of 5 riders per day of session)
- What's included: ~2 hours of tunnel time, professional consulting, and a testing program desiged around your goals. You'll also receive a summary report and DVD of your session.
- Tunnel: University of Washington's Low-Speed Wind Tunnel in Seattle
- Consulting: Len Brownlie of Aerosports Research

Dates:
DATES 5/9 and 5/10 - 2 slots available on the 10th and times are chosen based on a first come first serve basis

What do I need to do to secure a slot?
- Email or call me at 971-404-5665 or hoeferland@me.com
- Send a $50 deposit to hoeferland@me.com via PayPal (personal funds please or add 2% for PayPal fees)

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please let me know.

Any chance there will be one in June? I won't have my new bike in May...

Likely not. I think this will be our only session this year. But, you can get your position dialed during this session and then transfer it over to your new bike.

Thanks for the idea but the geometry on my bike is different enough to what I will be riding that it wouldn't be productive at this point. I will likely be in if you do it again next year though.
