Securing di2 wires to carbon frame
Question, I need to tape external front derauilleur wire from bb to derauilleur tightly so that it does not interfere or catch crank. Used. 3m tape after alcohol prep, lasted only a few weeks, any other suggestions?. Thanks.

I did an external Di2 build on a carbon frame a few years ago. Cleaned the frame really well then wiped down the area with acetone. Used the Shimano wire covers and they've held great. No peel up at all over tens of thousands of miles.

I will try that thanks, my other bike has never come off after 2 years, this frame is a bit different, must be the coating on the paint. Thanks

One thing I've tried that's worked on some bikes but not others ... simple clear packing tape. On my latest tri bike, it sticks really well and I've only taken it off when I'm doing deep cleans and recable/wires. It's cheap and easy to try.
