I feel like the DS Trainer is nearly what the 2xxx series used to be 5+ years ago.

As mentioned earlier, the Adidas Tempo is a great shoe (firmer than the Mirage) if the upper doesn't bother you.

Same here. The 17s were a little bit heavy compared to past models, but they were great overall. The radical changes were unwarranted!

If the DS Racers were a little bit more sturdy, I'd use them for daily training.

For now, I'm training in Kayanos. They're heavier, but very comfortable.

Years with the DS....too many tweaks took it toll and I stopped around 14 I think.

I really like the brooks pure cadence and the Noosas. Though I didn't love version7 of the noosas or version 2 of the pure cadence.
