From what I gather 50-54 is stacked....much better to be 45-49 at St. Croix! See you there Larkin. Should be a fun trip. 3 weeks to go and it will certainly be hotter than the cold rain in Galveston last weekend!

I saw the participant list for our age group and it didn't look as crazy stacked as last year...though I could be wrong...ignorance is bliss ;) Would love to get a slot.

Very excited to see my GF (who I coach) race and fully expect her to win women's 55-59!

I'm in, first time on the island. 50-54AG; Just looking to survive (the heat more than the hills - it's been a bitch of a winter!). Arriving on Thurs May 1st, American Airlines. Renting a house not far from the Beast with a buddy who should be Top 10% of 50-54s. Looking forward to a memorable race and a nice relaxing week thereafter!

Just saw Rinny is doing the race. I really hope her relatively poor swim and bike allow me to see her at least once on the run course.

will be at the Jump Up festival friday night for all the fun. hope to see you there

haha didn't know about the festival but sounds great...you and Dev will have to be my tour guide as I'm clueless ;)
