Before making a claim to Paypal, figured I'd maybe save some trouble and see if anyone out there is interested in this wheel.
Purchased a 2012 HED Jet 9. Its a C2 and has SCT. It was labeled as practically new, with 75 miles on it. Has a Shimano freehub on it that is brand new according to the seller, being swapped out for a Campagnolo hub.
After getting the wheel, found a cosmetic blemish around the valve hole side. The carbon is somewhat unfinished for about a 4 to 6" length. Not sure if that is the best description.
Investigated with HED, and this is a structurally sound wheel with a cosmetic blemish and was sold as such to this person. Unable to resolve with the guy, was about to file a claim, but figured I'd throw it out there for anyone if they might be interested.
I paid about $650 shipped. If there are any takers or interested parties in the next 24 hours, I'll go that way, otherwise will proceed with my claim.
Having trouble adding the pictures now, but can email if anyone is interested. PM with email.
