I have a SRAM Apex Compact crank set (similar to Gossamer in quality/price/etc.) with BB that has only been used for one race. Had to buy/use it while other (brand not mentioned) crank set was being warrantied. Bought it this year, raced it in May, pulled it off and stored it shortly thereafter. Cheers, -j
