I think so, but I could be mistaken. I guess it would depend on how your head tilt is naturally, though. The more you look like Dave Zabriskie, the better you probably are for this setup.

Lot of funny posts here! I have a Giant SL1 w a torpedo mount in the normal direction. My edge 500 is mounted at the very front end of the bars on a PD computer mount without the screw strap. I drilled a hole on each end of the mount tube and zip tied it to the bars where the shifters push in. So I don't even have to move my eyes to read it. I have the same set up on a QR CD01. I don't see how you could easily read the data if you mount it on the end nearest you.
