I love desoto stuff but I wear Moeben sleeves: http://moeben.com/ The company was started by an ultrarunner. She gave them away at Badwater to the racers one year. I bought a pair and wore them when I crewed and they sold me for life. Plus they have little pockets.

I have Craft, but I also have some cheapies that I bought from Eastbay. They are slightly compressive, but still a bitch to put on when you are still wet in T1. I have worn then during the swim and they didn't bother me. Be aware, the Eastbay sleeves are sold as singles not pairs.

What did you search for on dealextreme? I can't seem to find any on there under arm sleeves, arm coolers, or any other such combination.

Try "UV Cover"

I went ahead and picked up a pair of these and have taken them out for about 5 or 6 rides of 30-60 miles averaging 20-ish mph in Central Florida heat and humidity. There is a cooling effect you feel on your arms as you feel the air move past your arm. I have tried them both dry and started my ride by wetting them. Both seem to work, but having them wet you'll feel a more noticeable effect. If I had to GUESS it feels about a degree or two cooler over the course of the ride. I would say I'm happy with my purchase of this product.

Thanks for everyone's input.
