Autobody repair

My wife accidentally rubbed her car on a truck tire and now has two holes (pinky nail sized, each) in the rear passenger door. Any suggestions for covering it up, other than Bondo? We're not going to fix it but I'd like to keep the water out so it doesn't collect.
Shit happens.. and it sucks when it does.
If my body isn't strong enough... I hope my wallet will be.

Is this a metal door? Or is it plastic like a Saturn? Since the holes are small, you could go to a sign shop that does vehicle wraps and buy some vinyl that is roughly the color of your car. It's the same stuff they do whole vehicle wraps in (if you ever see those matte black supercars) to change the color without painting. It lasts a long time and is waterproof. It would be smoother than caulk, is waterproof, and lasts 7-9 years.

Would that require some smoothing out? I'm guessing it would. I wonder what the wife would think about a whole strip to cover it... hmmmm

Is it dented/gouged/wrinkled? It shouldn't really require too much smoothing out unless the surface is really messed up. The vinyl will conform to a lot of surface imperfections, it just takes a little heat.

All three but small, I would say. Thanks for the great suggestion!
