I don't think there should be any rear wheel removal issues if the brake arms are resting against the posts and the shims are put in according to BMC's manual. My 25s scrape the brake pads, but come out without any real force. The horizontal dropouts are more of a concern for wheel removal.

I know people are doing it, but inline barrel adjusters are not meant for brake lines. You can send an email to Jagwire and ask for yourself. Brake cables are a much higher tension (during braking) than shift cables and it's a poor place to have a failure. If anything happened, you could have your brake levers touching the bar before your pads would be touching the rim.
