I wonder if they wind test the SHIV against other bikes with a bottle on the frame. They have taken the lead with that one - if you don't need a bottle on the frame surely it will test faster than anything else? Looks sweet.

Nice bike.

But, no offense to you, I am not a fan of that paint scheme. Black is great, but all of those crazy stripes? Ouch.

I might be crucified for this, but...it kinda just looks like any other bike.

Yellow warning stickers, skyscraper stem, a ton of cabling, smorgasbord of components, flat pedals, training wheels....

My point is this: On the retail floor, as spec'd, it wouldn't catch my eye.

What's your price on this particular bike? Any lookers so far?

Agreed... Kind of reminds me of Tron.

Agreed on all points. As a retailer, we set the bike up as "neutral" as possible. Didn't cut steerer tube, left cables long, test ride pedals, all "lawyer" stickers still on, etc....
Better to cut later than sooner :). My owner decided to do high MSRP, 5999.99. I have a bit of lee-way.

In my opinion: SICK!!! very tall. I am 6'3", flexible and I could EASILY ride a medium. EASILY.... Bike is beautiful. Very well engineered, adjustable, ok, I'll say it... SEXY. Granted the wheels suck, but for 6 G, It is what it is....

Not that I am any expert on this thing, but I have assembled one. I might be able to answer any questions out there.

As for the lookers, I expect it to be sold today!!!!

I did get to see several models, with Zipps etc...very sweet bike. If you believe Mark and Jordan it might be the fastest bike too.

since the pro frame doesn't come with aerobars, does anyone have insight on what the specialized carbon bars specific for this bike will retail for? (all accessories included - stem, bars, extensions, etc). any dealers have access to this info.

I wasn't too keen on the paint job myself, but just saw my buddies 2012 Shiv S-works built up with DI2 at the shop (In Canada) and all I can say is wow. Pics do not do it justice!

Agreed. The Pro in the shop isn't the best paint job imo. HOWEVER... the bike itself is sweet. Ill post a new thread with my 2 cents...

Any pics of the Comp too? The Pro pic you posted up is a bit... Meh. Haha. Maybe they could just switch out the components to the Comp.........

x2.

Are those cables, or is it rigging? You should be able to tack nicely.

Good god, bring back anything that doesn't include any of that.

Hate saying this, but it makes the p5 look downright...middle class.
