thank you. she was a very special girl. we rescued her more than 8 years ago, and she started to shine as the smart funny, energetic dog that she really was. she leaves a huge hole….
This is Opie after her first trail run. She was being abused, and a friend of ours stepped in and brought her to us last fall. She is a great companion, and she LOVES to run.
Here's my 1 1/2 yr. old, "fox red" yellow lab, Bodie. Loves running off leash on the trails while I run and my wife rides. He also makes sure to jump in every pond.
Meet Zana, 1,5 yo Continental Landseer, occasionally couch potato, great swimmer and, if she's in the zone, a respectable 5k runner..
Since I'm the lousy open water swimmer and Zana is a great Water Rescue Dog it all makes sence...love that dog! If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse.
That's some professional-level relaxing, right there. :)
Haha, true! I've got a million pictures of her sleeping, because she's normally going 100mph when she's awake. Plays hard, sleeps hard. ___________________________________ feltbicycles.com - wilcouchatfeltbicyclesdotcom - Facebook
Greta, my retired racing Greyhound in the lead, and Bogie, one of the dogs I fostered this year, playing catchup.
I thought they'd be great training partners, but it turns out that they're really only good for a mile or so of sprinting. After that, they pretty much sleep all day.
So, she doesn't understand that she's not a lap dog? lol! :-D ____________________________________________ Don Larkin Reach For More http://www.reachformore.fit/ USAT Lvl1 Coach, NSCA-CPT, NASM-CPT, BS Exercise Science
Howard could be the twin of my friends rescue dog. She has been trying to identify her heritage. They told her it was a springer spaniel mix (lol). Dean Wilson http://www.anaerobiczone.com Bicycle Protection Indoors & Out
Zana is beautiful! Here is Daisy, our 3 year old Landseer ECT. She's not much of an athlete, but is nice to cuddle up to after a long, cold run.
And here she is at 9 month

Remember - It's important to be comfortable in your own skin... because it turns out society frowns on wearing other people's
