thunderbear - no. do you think i'd subject my home to this crowd? i used an abandoned supermarket as the backdrop because i liked the contrast between old and new.

S~ - we set the position to be fairly agressive so ultimately i may raise the bars a bit. you are probably right though, i will likely not go that high so i could cut the stem.

Suggestions (take them or leave them)

Tidy up the cable routing as they are sticking out pretty bad. Also get rid of the zap straps and use black electricians tape to run the full length of the down tube to hold the cable for the computer. Doing both of these will finish of the build a lot better.

I just hate the two position posts. Not directed at Felt only but they are just stupid in my opinion and if I had my position dialed in, I would take a dremel to the one not used. You pay so much for that bike and you have a sledge hammer for a seat post.

I love the cable routing on the new Felts, but you really hafta do something about the extra 40' of cables.

Ride her hard and fast and put 'er away wet.

It will still be a nice bike when the seat clamp breaks, you just won't be able to ride it.. and it will break eventually. Suggestion. Get a few as backup so that $2500+ piece of equipment doesn't become useless at inopportune moments.

Good thinking because my first setup was perfect and move the stem one click up. OH BOY TOO TIGHT! Now I have zero gravity brakes and the housing has to be just right no less or more than needed.

That frame is pretty slick and great photos, congratulations. The upgrades you made on the crankset and base bar are spot on. They really make the bike look so much better. Like others, I would suggest trimming those cables and maybe getting a double wireless computer and mount it to the stem. Also, upgrading the brake levers to something like the Bontrager XXX Lite would be an idea. I think this will just help make the bike look even more clean. You probably need a rear hydration system because that frame only allows for one bottle, correct?

A friend of mine wanted that bike but was having a hard time finding it in stock locally and at trisports so she ended up with a QR seduza. I know the Seduza and this felt are priced and spec'd near identical and I think she picked the lesser bike. The Felt is just more trick.

Wow, someone's not bitter or holding a grudge...god help your kid that wrecks the car...

They got weird rules. They didn't let me race because my shoulders were exposed but they let bikes without any base bars.

I agree with the other comments--nice photography! I like the shallow depth-of-field in your pictures, it's a nice change of pace from traditional ST auto-flash photography :)

Thanks. Just got a "real" camera this year and am enjoying playing around with it very much. (All shots taken with a Canon 30D and Canon 50mm f/1.4 prime under natural light. Actually took jpegs and these are right out of the camera).
