I don't think "amount of posts" is all that important. "amount" should be replaced by "quality".

Brian is a good choice. There are quite a few folks here that contribute greatly to the forum, as well as, provide some entertainment.

I don't know everyone's race times, but I could shoot off the names of 5 or 6 folks that always seem to be pretty darn fast AND contribute some meaningful information that people can use to improve their training/racing.

I don't think we need a "sportsman". (<-- IMHO)

At the pool a month ago, some little kid lost his locker key at the bottom of the play pool. While Desertdude is in the middle of swimming a set, the kid asks him to help him find his key. Desertdude obliges and spends the next 5 minutes or so in the play pool looking for the kids locker key......which he finds.

So I was pretty impressed with his superior underwater vision.............and his unselfishness with helping the kid out while he was in the middle of his swim practice.

I vote for Desertdude

Male: Fleck...we need more guys to post about a common sense approach to sport. Francois gets honourable mention although some might argue he should go in the category below:-).

Female: IronCLM. Puts a lot back into the sport, races all over and is a positive influence on the forum (gestapo references aside...) honourable mention Joanna Zeiger or Desiree Ficker for showing their faces in here and posting once or so to defend their actions (Damn pros...they get hammered if they DNF and also get hammered if they finish....go figure) :-).
