Please stop with the BMC threads. My LBS advised me yesterday my TM01 wont be in Aus until June (suppose to be this month).

Don't buy a large frame if you plan on running it in any UCI events. It is not legal. The manual doesn't tell you this, but it is not listed as UCI compliant on their lists and it doesn't come with the sticker stating it is UCI compliant.
I know because I have a ML frame in my foyer that was sent to my husband after he bought a L frame to race. The ML was sent by BMC to "fix" the problem. My husband is 6'4"....unless we saw his legs off or possibly his hands, there is simply no way.

Did he try to fit on it? Just asking because Im 6'3" and fit on the small end(seat rammed all the way forward, shortest stem) of my ML.

Wow! Great looking bike. Saw one at the shop and was really turned off on the silver, but it looks great on your bike!

Love that Silver, looks great. I saw the TM02 but in white with a blue and yellow line (I think it was blue and yellow). Liked that color also.

The biggest difference between the TM01/TM02 is going to be the front end. On the TM02 your using a standard 1 1/8 fork and standard stem. The TM01 comes equipped with the integrated fork/stem system. Aside from that, the fuselage is made from the same mold (the TM01 is slightly lighter) and have the same features. Very similar bikes, just a little less tech in the TM02.

Right now, he has a state TT in 7 weeks, so adapting to a new frame is not going to be primary focus. It may be one after that race and looking into Sept I guess. The issue is that his fit was from a wind tunnel and so any changes made will dramatically change the aerodynamics of the frame and his position. Not to mention the potential loss of power from a new position.
BTW< the silver is beautiful! I love the bike. I am 5'9" and I joked about stealing the ML frame because it would fit me.

TM02 = Standard Stem
TM01 = Integrated fork/stem/front brake
More Technology in TM01 than in TM02.
That being said, side by side, comes down to the front end and if you want to pay more for the integration. I would guess a bit of aero factor as the TM01 will be slightly less drag. For me, I find integrated or bayonet forks to be more stable at higher speeds.

BTW, let the boys back Grenchen know they hit a homerun on this one.
This is the first bike that makes sense to me. I have owned a 2007 QR Seduza, 2007 Felt DA, Look 596, 2009 and 2011 Cervelo P4. The Seduza was a great starter bike, but shifting was not very good due to a short chainstay. The Felt DA was great, but I just didn't fit well on it and the front brake was hanging in the wind and the top crown was molded wrong so it was off by about 2 degrees to the left. The Look 596 is a work of art and the most comfortable bike I ever owned with a lot of adjustability, but the brakes are both hanging in the wind (and I drove it into my garage while still on my roof rack). The P4's are a pain to work on and the brakes suck. Damn fast bike though. I'm scared of it and I have a hard time standing-climbing on it.
The TM01 has everything I want except rear wheel drop ins instead of track, but I get the reason why. It all makes sense. And it's realitively easy to work on.
Oh yeah, and it's sex on wheels.
