Bought Yimmy's compact crank, my days of turning over a 53x12 in the last 200 meters have given way to climbing long SoCal climbs slowly in the 35x27. Selling my 170mm std 53/39 Quarq crankset, 170mm, GXP BB compatibility.
I also use a SRAM Red TT 53 ring for maximum stiffness under load (bada-bing!) for precision shifting in the field sprint. Of course, it's rocking a TT look anyways.
Great shape, well cared for - scuff marks from the shoe but nothing else. Quarq did a firmware update 2 yrs ago in factory. Rode this only my racing bike only, my training bike is ridden 9 months out of the PacNW year so this has stayed clean and relatively low use.
