I'm considering doing a small super-sprint tri next weekend. It has an indoor swim, followed by an outdoor bike and run. My tri suits clearly say not to use in chlorine, but will a short, one-time use do much harm? If so, what do you wear? I'm not crazy about the idea of wearing jammers on the bike and run, and its way too short of a race to change.

Wear the tri suit. Wash it when you are done. One time isn't going to hurt it.

Just wear your tri suit. I've never had an issue. I used mine at least 10 times in the pool over 3 years and never had an issue. That was a Desoto Liftfoil suit. The suit is still in perfectly good condition and have been retired to a training suit. The issue is when you wear all the time training and treat it like a swim suit.
