was I right in changing my RETUL fit?

Hi All,

I got a RETUL fit last year but the position I ended up in was uncomfortable. I was down 30 watts compared to my road bike in 20 min power and when running off the bike I got side stitches almost every time. I never had stitches before.
I spend well over 8 month with this position before I decided to screw it and work on my fit on my own. I guessed that my position was too crunched which caused the side stitches on the left side (liver).

Changes I made were the following:

1. change cranks from 175mm to 165mm
2. lower seat by 0.25 inch (yes, even with the shorter cranks)
3. increase reach by more than 2 inch
4. keep pad height (less drop) I am now at approx 4.5 inch armrest drop

Saddle is a selle italia iron flow (split nose, short)

I am 5'11 around 178 lbs, no major physical limitations, other than that I am not the most flexible guy. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Based on the video I realized that my upper body is rocking quite a bit, is that a problem?

Thanks all!!
Uli

Here is a vid of my new position:

longer or lower

rotate hips

figure out what kind of configuration in the cockpit gets your head down naturally.

No. Its not about the money its more about finding the right position I have no regrets since knowing what does not work is valuable. I was hoping to get some input on what to look for. To me my current position looks decent, but I have no real knowledge thats why I am asking

No problem, maybe your stationary trainer in the video could do your next fit... (-;

And your seat is too high, still...

...well it kind of did since I changed my position based on the 20 min power I could sustain. During my reftul fit I had to pedal for a few minutes and was given some numbers based on the software output.
