I have them but with a shimano drivetrain. I have them on hed corsair bars, but ideally they are meant for bars with internal cable routing which the Heds are not so I had to cut a little groove in the end of the extensions for the cable to exit. If you run them I would contact FSA in advance and order a spare pair of the plastic end cap shift buttons. I tend to break one every year or so, but FSA has fantastic customer service and have always got me spares within a week - but if it happens the day before your A race you may be out of luck as I've never found a lbs that carries them. You can ride without but it's pretty hard on the thumbs to shift.
