tri cycling shoes for wide feet??
Finished my century ride today with some major pain in my toes. I am fairly flat footed with some pretty wide feet and am currently using specialized trivets. Can anyone suggest shoes with a wider toe box to help eliminate this?

I have found that Northwave shoes generally are a bit wider.

Two wheels good. Four wheels bad.

I have pretty wide feet, and the Shimano SH-TR32 was a good fit.

Check CarbonConnection.com

I ordered some Lake tri shoes in a wide size last fall and love them!

Really, what specific model? I haven't seen a pair of LGs that fit me yet.

X2 on the Lakes. I just bought of the TX222 wide on ebay. They come from Lake and they have lots of sizes available.

The LG are generally wide, but to me that was more so with the older models.

Bont is another option, but a different level and price point.

Definitely Lake in the wide version. Plus, the Lake toe box shape doesn't drastically taper in like many of their competitor's shoes that do.

I've found the Competitive Cyclist size comparisons to be pretty accurate.

It's at the bottom of the page, when you select size in the navigation below the row of pictures.

I'm an 11.5E and I just purchased a pair of LG T300's size 46. They fit great. They are also mouldable if you put them in the oven for 15 minutes or so.

I'll vouch for the bonts as well, since they have a wide toe box to begin with and you can heat mold them as often as you like. Good proce too.

Don't forget to unclip!
