The scale was probably to make sure that those that registered as "Clydesdales", finished the race "Clydesdale". If you start "Clydesdale" and finish "Non-Clydesdale"... no soup for you!!! OK, I have no idea why, but I gave it a shot.

Yeah, Hammer Gel is helping me out, so are pretty much all the stuff I'm now using. IT&B, Oakley, the Saucony racers, very cool, all stuff I used to buy anyways.
I think that pic was taken about a minute after I passed James Cotter lying, yes lying, in the middle of the road. He eventually got up, and rumor has it deliriously hit on the girl helping him to walk, then he finished. And later on that day he went on a heroic 2.5 hour quest for beer by the pool, me I sat in the pool/hottub/pingpong table for 2.5 hours and watched him march back and forth and never actually show up with anything. It was pretty funny, but at least he recovered. After C & I left, they did shots on the beach, got wasted and went skinny dipping. The beach at the resort was pretty rocky and the euros with them were introduced to lava rock, waves, and a nice big vana (pokey sea urchin) in the foot very quickly;)

yeah, this guy who got it in the foot was a visiting pro and he had another race in two weeks... cut his hand pretty good too. It was 1am and they were pretty wasted so I'm not surprised. Heard they basically stripped and charged the water not bothering to check if it was sand or lava rock and coral under that water. Definetely no sand;) Went into my lbs 2 days later and the shop mech/local pro was sitting there like a zombie, said he was still feeling it from that night!
