I hear you. It would be nice to offer the brakeset with either backplate as an option.

I work in the manufacturing world and we have our offerings ready to go up to about 95% and I it goes to Europe, they get something different than N/A and if it goes to Japan they get something different again.
Nick could have these boxed and 95% ready to go and just put in the back plate of choice when the order is placed and everyone is happy. If a customer wants to change THEN you hit them up for the extra $50.
Just my thought on making your customers a bit happier and not upsetting them before they actually place the order.
Honestly this is the only reason I have not bought 2 as I do not want to spend the extra $100 for 2 brakes and while I am fine using the dremel I do not want to do that on something out of the box.
