My first time at White Lake (as mentioned above) and thought it was a great day and a great race. We left Raleigh around 4:15 in the morning, so next year I think we may look into staying out there, but it was nice to be home and on the couch by 3. Being my first time down there I didn't realize when the half and international would start to cross paths, so that was a little frustrating. Similar to being in a marathon and having a relay member fly past you 20 miles in. Heard the warnings about the bumps on the bike course, not terrible but certainly a tad annoying. Having the cold wet towels on the run was key, they definitely kept me going. I'll definitely be back again.
